A Typical Sunday Service
Here's what a Sunday morning at Church of the Cross looks like. You're welcome to come as you are — dress is casual to business casual.
- Praise songs and contemporary worship music
- Children's lesson and blessing (children are then invited to Children's Church)
- Scripture reading
- Message (sermon)
- Confession of sins and words of absolution
- Holy Communion (all baptized believers welcome)
- Prayer for the congregation and community
- Sending hymn and benediction
Outdoor Worship Among the Pines
During the summer months, we take worship outside — gathering among Evergreen's beautiful ponderosa pines for open-air services. It's one of the most beloved traditions at Church of the Cross.
And yes — pets are welcome at our outdoor summer services. Bring the whole family.
